This was our first week at Little Greenfingers Gardening Club, and the children were raring to go!

We planted lots of strawberries, taking care of their delicate roots and making sure they had plenty of space to grow.

The children worked together to dig trenches for our potatoes, showing fantastic teamwork and enthusiasm.

We also spent time learning about how plants grow and why they need water, sunlight, and care.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting stuck in, helping one another, and enjoying being outdoors.

We can’t wait to see how our allotment grows over the coming weeks!
